Here are some fall updates (via my email list): http://eepurl.com/1W5lL. It includes news about some upcoming performances, a new CD, and a tour.
Here’s a recording of my hot-off-the-press piece, With No Surroundings There Can Be No Path, which is part of Nat Evans’s months-long project The Tortoise and His Raincoat: Music for a Very Long Walk. It uses field recordings Nat made along part of his journey on the Pacific Crest Trail, roughly passing where I grew up to where I live now.

This entire concert received a wonderful review in Isaac Shankler’s Spring Concert Journal on NewMusicBox (I am a little biased towards the review because I was called “masterful” and “transfixing” which made me pretty excited). He also writes about three other Los-Angeles-area concerts by the LA Phil, What’s Next Ensemble, and Timur and the Dime Museum.
