Coyoteways is a contrasting set of ideas – myth and science, concrete and abstract – of coyotes in American culture through stories of coyote run-ins, trickster mythology, human-coyote coevolution and the federal government’s hundred year war against coyotes.
Nat Evans has created a new collection of stories and music, Coyoteways. The music and narratives in this performance guide the audience through a lens to see our ecology, such as it is, and how we can find myth in everyday life through coyotes. For this performance, Evans will be joined by L.A. based musician Scott Worthington.
